  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish with butter.
  3. Wash the berries, then arrange in the baking dish; sprinkle with flour, sugar, and salt, then mix to combine.
  4. Dot with chopped butter and bake for 18-22 minutes until bubbly around the edges. Remove from oven and stir.
  5. In the meantime, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt for the topping.
  6. Melt butter and whisk in vanilla extract.
  7. Pour melted butter mixture over flour mixture and stir until crumbly.
  8. Sprinkle batter over berries using hands.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Remove and let stand 10-15 minutes.
  11. Serve warm with ice cream.
