Preparation Steps
- Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat sugar, butter, sour cream, and egg until creamy.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients alternating with milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
- Gently fold in 1 ¾ cups of blueberries, reserving ¼ cup for topping.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and sprinkle with remaining blueberries.
- Bake for 80 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Notes
This blueberry bread makes a perfect breakfast or snack and can be stored for a few days.
