Preparation Steps
- Wrap the prize in the gift wrap, using the tape to secure it. Make sure it's wrapped as tightly and oddly as possible to make it difficult to guess the contents.
- Place the wrapped prize in the cardboard box and seal the box.
- On game day, present the wrapped box to your guests and explain that they will play a game similar to The Price Is Right. Have guests guess the price of the item inside the box.
- Have guests write down their guesses on slips of paper. You can either have them guess a specific price or guess a range.
- The person closest to the actual price of the items (including the wrapping and box if you want to make it extra challenging) wins the prize. You'll need to know the approximate cost of all the items to determine the winner.
Notes
This game is best played with a group of people who are familiar with the Price is Right. You can adjust the complexity of the wrapping and the prize to suit your audience.
