Preparation Steps
- Cook the rotini pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, diced dill pickles, mayonnaise, sour cream, chopped fresh dill, and diced red onion.
- Add the dill pickle juice, salt, and pepper. Stir gently to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
This pasta salad is best served chilled. For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
