Preparation Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch square pan. Line with parchment for easy removal.
- Prepare brownie mix as per package instructions and pour into prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes and cool completely.
- In a stand mixer, beat softened butter for 2 minutes, then add pumpkin spice, vanilla, pumpkin puree, and confectioners sugar. Mix until smooth.
- Spread the pumpkin frosting evenly over cooled brownies.
- In a saucepan, melt peanut butter and chocolate chips over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
- Add cereal to the chocolate mixture, stirring to coat evenly. Spread over frosting layer.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour until set, then cut into squares and serve.

For extra flavor, sprinkle with chopped nuts or additional chocolate chips.
