  • 16 oz refried beans
  • 1.5 cups mild guacamole
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 ounce taco seasoning packet
  • 16 oz chunky mild salsa
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 2.25 oz sliced black olives
  • 1 cup chopped roma tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup thinly sliced green onions

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Add the canned refried beans to a small mixing bowl. Add 3 tablespoons of water, and stir until completely combined and smooth.
  2. Spread the refried beans evenly into the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish using a spatula.
  3. Spread the premade guacamole over the refried beans layer.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream and taco seasoning packet. Then spread over the guacamole layer.
  5. Drain excess liquid from chunky salsa and spread over the sour cream layer.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the salsa layer.
  7. Top with shredded lettuce.
  8. Sprinkle drained black olives over the lettuce.
  9. Add chopped roma tomatoes over the olives. Pat dry with paper towels to reduce excess juice.
  10. Finish with sliced green onions on top. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour before serving with tortilla chips.
