  • 8 large Rice Krispie Treats
  • 10 oz Ghirardelli dark chocolate melting wafers
  • 16 pieces candy eyes

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Prepare rice krispie treats in a 9-inch square dish and cut into 8 large rectangles.
  2. Melt dark chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Dip the top of each rice krispie treat into the melted chocolate, then place on parchment paper to set.
  4. Immediately place candy eyes onto each treat while the chocolate is still soft.
  5. Once chocolate has set, spoon remaining melted chocolate into a small plastic bag, snip a tiny corner, and pipe 8 legs onto each treat. Allow to set before serving.

Notes

Use store-bought or homemade rice krispie treats for convenience. Be creative with the spider decorations!
