Preparation Steps
- Cut chicken into 1 inch cubes.
- Place chicken cubes into a plastic bag and add cornstarch. Seal and shake to coat.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
- Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
- In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, vinegar, water, sugar, and cayenne pepper; stir well.
- Pour sauce into skillet with chicken. Bring to a simmer and cook for 4-5 minutes, until sauce thickens.
- Add sliced green onions and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Serve hot over cooked rice.
