Preparation Steps
- Add the tomatillos, jalapeƱos, cilantro, garlic, and onion to a food processor and pulse for about 5 seconds until chunky.
- Halve the avocado, remove the pit, score the flesh, and scoop it into the food processor.
- Add lime juice and salt, then stir by hand until combined, keeping the avocado chunky.
- Taste and adjust salt as needed. Serve immediately for best freshness.
Notes
This salsa is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days. Stir before serving as ingredients may separate.
